How to be body confident: No dieting required
According to the loose women, a whooping 97% of women hate their bodies and wished they could change them. That's a pretty bloody worrying statistic and regardless of what people think, not all of these people are plus sized. So how do become body confident without dieting or thousand of pounds of cosmetic surgery?
These might be small things like 'I love that my eyes allow me to see a beautiful sunset at night' or 'I love my arms because they can give people I love hugs'. Once you have these 5 things write them down on a piece of paper and stick them to your wardrobe.
General rule of thumb is if your inner bits are working, you're outer bits will be glowing.
1. Do the naked test
Next time you come out of a bath/shower, go to a full length mirror and take a long hard look at yourself. Then identify five things that you like about your body.

Now look at all your clothes and make-up and find ways to highlight the parts of your body that you do like. Love your legs, wear more patterned trousers and shorts? Love your eyes, highlight them with a new colour of eye-shadow.
2. Take care of your inner bits:
Now, I'm not saying do a crash diet, for heavens sake! I'm on about the basics, drinking lots of the good old wet stuff. Eating at least 5 pieces of fruit and veg a day and going for a little walk/run where you live.

3. Give your brain a workout.
Yes, your brain is part of the body and should be treated as such. How do you work it out? By learning new stuff of course. Future Learn offer short distance learning course for a variety of subjects free of charge. Then you can pay between £40 and £70 (depending on the course) to get the official certificate which means you have something else to put on your CV. I am currently studying the 'Inclusive Learning and Teaching Environments' course ran by University of Southampton.
Alternatively, you can look for online course on Groupon which has lots of different things from aromatherapy to dress making. Price wise you are looking at £15-£45 depending on the course and a lot of the time, this does include the certificate.
4. Have a pamper night.
Drop those lemons in the water, run yourself a hot bath and put on your fluffiest slippers. It's never too early or late for a pamper night. With everything going on the world at the moment, it is important to take some time out and treat yourself.
