Previously, I mentioned that I was going to talk about plus sized denim. I then forgot that I mentioned it, wrote some other entries and forgot about it. Today, I am finally getting my act together and writing this entry.
For the humble plus sized woman, shopping can be a painful experience. Mainly because there seems to be this perception that plus-sized woman can't have nice things. Denim is one of the most painful experiences, but it doesn't have to be.
Take
Simply Be, for example. A plus sized store that offers clothes from UK sizes 14-32. This place is my favourite place when it comes to jeans. They have a variety of colours, styles and sizes all with a little bit of give at the top. Perfect for that junk in the trunk.

UK 20 or smaller? Try
Primark, over the last 3-5 years, the low cost store has really paid attention to its sizing. The result? Low cost denim that fits well and doesn't cause a changing room meltdown. From the standard bootcut, to bright pink skinny jeans, the sky is the limit. Oh and it's super cheap as well.
If you are a size 20 or smaller and want something other than your conventional jeans, Select is a really good place to go. Whether it's cute cord style dresses, or dungarees, I have always had a really good fit when I have used them previously. I also discussed the store in more detail
here.

So there you have it. 3 places where you can buy cute denim and not have to worry about having an mental breakdown in the changing rooms. Don't forget, that both Simply Be and Select, have online stores as well, meaning you don't even have to leave your bed. I'm not going to say what I'm doing next to avoid any more disappointment. Until I decide my next topic, remember you are all beautiful.
Kelly.
