App Reviews: Wish Part 2

Last month, I introduced you all to Wish. An online platform known for having products at really low prices, in exchange for long shipment times. I believe now that all of my products have FINALLY been sent in the post and therefore, I can conclude my review.

Firstly it is important to note, that I have already given Wish a 4/5 for product cost, convivence and variety. You can read about these factors in more detail here. Now, I am going to look at the product quality.

In no particular order:

9 colour eyeshadow palette:

As you can see in the photo above, the palette has a very good variety of shimmering shades, making it ideal for any eye colour. So far I have used the 3 brown shades and they lasted the whole day. The also worked really well with the 15 colour palette. It's only downside is that it can be difficult to open, but for it's low price, I can't knock it. 

Glitter Lip Stick in Red:

As you can see, the 'lipstick' isn't a stick at all. Instead it is more of a lip stain, which I didn't mind, I would have just preferred for that to have been said in the description. Especially Since the same company (CmAADU who also made the 15 colour shadow and berry lip stain) calls the berry lip stain, a lip stain. 

Colourwise, it was very red as seen below, however I felt it wasn't a glittery as I wanted. Since Wish portrayed it as the whole ruby crusted lips fantasy. Also the products feels very tacky on my lips and this and the berry lip stain had a tendency to peel off my lips an hour or two later.

What I said for the glitter lipstick can also be said for the lip stain since the same company made them both. I can praise the colour, however. It was exactly what I was expecting and is really good for Autumn and Winter. 

It does, have the same issues of peeling that the lipstick did. 

15 colour shimmer eye palette.

I'm going to jump to a conclusion here. CmaaDU Cosmetics, are great for their colours and prices (if you go on Wish and get it for free or £1. Don't spend $9 or about £7 for heavens sake) and crap at anything else. Like the lip stains, the eyeshadows feel incredibly tacky on my eyelids and they don't quite last as long as I would like. 

In addition, good luck trying to use this palette alone. I attempted this the review and failed hard. However, I did find that 1/2 are usable if you do them with the 9 shade palette. Only use it this way, otherwise you are in for a world of misery. 

Patchwork dress

The material was a little bit thinner than I was expecting and it is slightly tight on the boobs however for less than a tenner, it's a really nice dress and I wear it a lot.

Does what it says on the tin. Very versatile tank that came exactly how I expected to. The fit was just right and it washed well. 

So final thoughts on Wish. I already mentioned that I found the wait times far too long in part one. I also feel that you really need to look at the brand names if you can find them especially for the make-up. However, for a large majority of the products (even the CmaaDU ones), I did save money buying them from Wish as opposed to direct which is a big plus. I would definitely use Wish again, now I have some more knowledge on what to look for.
