Birchbox September Review: Sand & Sky Austrailian Pink Clay Flash Perfection Exfoliating Treatment
Well, that title was a mouthful, wasn't it folks? Tongue twister aside, it's time for another review from my magical Birchbox. This time, we're going to look at making our pretty faces look even more fabulous.
The exfoliating treatment is currently retailing at £34.90. Alternatively, you can go direct and get the 'besties' deal where you get two bottles for £59.30 (saving £10.50) or the 'perfect skin bundle' which features the exfoliating treatment, a pink clay face mask and an applicator brush for £63.50 (saving £11.30). One thing is clear, no matter how good this product is, it's bloody expensive, or at least it is for a University graduate.
Another thing, I really hope you like pink. If you don't, I'm warning you now, you are not going to have a fun time. Everything about this product is pink, the bottles pink, the clay's pink, hell even the campervan on their website is so pink, it would make Pinky Pie blush.
However, I've never been one to judge something's effectiveness based on it's colour. Instead, I like to operate on the policy of 'can it do it's job?' Now my skin at the moment, is quite blotchy and I get really porous around my nose area.

Well, I've literally just came back from trying the product in the bath. I would attach photos of me in said bath, but google has a strict no nude policy. There were some things that were very interesting to note, firstly the smell. You can tell there is pink clay, mainly because you can't smell anything else. However, it was very easy to put on and my pores have tightens up. It also did a great job at removing my lipstick.
In addition, the whole process was very relaxing which helped with the whole self-care thing I'm doing at the moment.

Overall, the product worked and I clearly saw the benefits straight away. I also now know what all of the fuss is about. If I had a little bit more money, I would happily buy the set tomorrow.
