My best places to buy makeup.

Make-up. We all love it don't we? Well, I do. I have a whole draw of the stuff. So here is my little list of my favourite shops to buy make-up.

Beauty Outlet

Why I love it:

I've spoken about Beauty Outlet briefly in my previous make-up tutorials, however, this entry is now allowing me to go into more detail.

Beauty Outlet is a store that offers a variety of different make-up brands with a discounted price. These brands include W7, Anastasia Beverly Hills,  Clarins and Max-Factor to name but a few. What's really good about beauty outlet, is that you can easily do a whole face of make-up for £10-£15 if you play your cards rights. In addition, the website offers free delivery for all purchases over £20.

My recommendations:

I have used the 'Colour Me Buff' eyeshadow palette as part of my Pink Fantasy make-up tutorial. I also happen to use the 'Colour Me Nude' palette for a lot of my daytime looks and I love the 'Midnight' palette for nights out. Also £10 for 3 eyeshadow palettes is amazing value for money.

You sexy senors and senoritas have heard me about my love of Clarins before. I have also discussed just how bloody expensive it is. So when Beauty Outlet had an offer of which all Clarins is just £8, I had to give this lip-gloss a shout out.

Lush:

Why I love it:

Whilst, more costly than our previous store (you're looking at about £10.50 for eyeshadow, £15.50 for a mascara and £14.95 for an eyeliner), lush prides itself on natural makeup for you green peace folks amongst you. In addition, whilst their make-up is costly, it does last you for a minimum 3 months.

Also, Lush is known for designing its products around the most sensitive of skins. Going further to even provide a guide on how its makeup is designed to help with sensitive eyes. This means, very little worry about your skin melting off (YAY). In addition, Lush doesn't test on animals and a lot of their products are vegan, so the bunnies and beagles are safe.

My recommendations:

Fantasy

There's normally 1 make-up product that I buy from Lush, their eyeliners. Why? It's a good formula and can double up as a creamy eyeshadow. I used to used charm, which was a baby pink colour however this is no longer sold at lush (NO). Fantasy, is the next one that I use. Mainly because I'm a little sucker for anything with glitter.

Birchbox:

Why I love it:

You've heard me talk about Birchbox before. You've heard me rave about the make up in their boxes before. You have also heard me explain how their boxes allow you to try higher branded make-up for a lower price. So I'm not going to go into too much detail about why it's amazing. All I'm going to say is that if you click this link, you'll get a fiver off your first box. It's important to note, after your first box, you'll get 10% off any of the products in the box (this goes up to 15% after 6 boxes).

My recommendations:

Benefit Gold Rush Blusher: £25.50 (£22.95 after the box discount)

I have previously reviewed this blush before and gave it sterling reviews. It's probably the best blusher that I have ever used and if I'm not wearing this as part of a make-up look, something is seriously wrong.

So there you have it, my favourite places to currently buy make-up. Until next entry folks, remember you are beautiful.

Kelly
